Why does Google Chrome load pages very slow?

The problem I am having, is that whenever i use Chrome (This also happens on firefox) It will start to run slow if I search on yahoo or google, but it loads bookmarks and other pages just fine. The only pages that load slow are search engine pages. Why is that? My computer and my internet connection is just fine btw.
