Biology 1215: If the S pahse was eliminated from the cell cyle, the daughter cells would?

assuming the cell can still undergo mitosis, it would be hella effed! My best guess is D. I'm uncertain whether or not the daughter cells would have "half" exactly just because you really can't determine how the chromosomes are going to be split up. I ruled out A because you can't just whip out some genetic material from thin air. They won't be identical because obviously some daughter cells will have some chromosomes while others won't. I didn't say C because the daughter cell will indeed have some of the chromosomes, just not all of them. I'm inbetween C and D but I like D better.
