Is it just me or is Firefox getting bad?

i tried firefox 5 and it felt bloated, i deleted it and downloaded firefox 7 nightly.... 2 google tabs open, 158,000K!!!!!!!!!!! no joke, i restarted my computer and tried it again, same thing!!!
